HERE'S WHAT TO EXPECT AT YOUR NEXT APPOINTMENT–
We are excited to be opening up again and to get to see your smiling faces! It’s been far too long! While things might be a little different in the office, we are taking every precaution to keep everyone safe and healthy.
Dr. Brian and our team have still been working hard – from virtual checkups to mailing rubber bands, to preparing for a safe reopening, we’re looking forward to seeing our patients very soon!
The health of our patients, their families, and our team is our number one priority!
We are open for regularly scheduled appointments, please understand that we will continue to follow guidelines for preventing the spread of any infectious disease, as outlined by the standards set by the CDC, American Association of Orthodontists and other local professional organizations.
We utilize hospital-level sterilization techniques for your safety and health. We will continue to be diligent in our efforts to keep our office safe for you and your family.
We must limit the number of people we have in the office at a time, will be staggering the scheduling of patients seen each day, and adding additional clinic days and times so that we can spread out appointments more effectively.
Please bring a mask or mouth covering. At this time, no one is allowed in our office without a mask or mouth covering. When you arrive please note two important changes.
We ask that you STAY IN YOUR CAR. You will use the signs in our parking lot to scan the QR code to complete the form once you have arrived. Or you can text message our office the word ‘HERE’. We will then be able to message you a link to a “wellness survey” that you complete on your phone and from the safety of your car.
The wellness survey will ask some questions related to your health, symptoms, and exposure to COVID-19. It is essential that you answer these questions honestly. If you are symptomatic or at-risk we will work to address any issues or concerns with a Virtual Checkup and reschedule your in-office appointment.
Unfortunately, we won’t be able to see you if this has not been completed. Once we have been notified that the form has been completed, a team member will come to the car, check the patient’s temperature, and bring them into the appointment.
One of the most noticeable changes we will make is that we will not have any persons in our reception area. This regulation will support social distancing and help keep the number of people in the office to a minimum. If the patient is a minor, one person is allowed with them, but if your child is totally comfortable hanging out with us, we would prefer that they come in alone.
Each patient must use hand sanitizer before they are seen.
Our team will reach out via phone or text to schedule your next appointment.
Parents: Dr. Brian will message you after your child’s appointment to fill you in on progress and next steps. If you have any specific concerns you’d like us to address during the appointment, please feel free to contact us prior to the appointment via phone or text.
Please understand that these new steps are new steps for us as well, and things may move a bit slower at first. We will work hard to see you as soon as we can, but these changes will limit how many people we can see and which procedures are done at which time. We have to take all of this into consideration while keeping your safety and our quality of care at the top of our list.
WE CAN'T WAIT TO SEE YOU AGAIN!
Thank you all so much for being patient and cooperative.
We truly appreciate all of you and we are so excited to get to see you and hear all about what you have been doing to pass the time!
